Instead, she stumbles upon a scene of horrific violence, as one man lies helpless in the face of three attackers. The long robes covering the thin body rustled with every step, dragging across the ice floor picking up crystals so that the hem collected shards and splinters of glistening white. After a thousand years in a gray world, he has accomplished everything he set out to do. With one look, Taviano knew that Nicoletta was his, just as he felt their shadows connect. Dark Possession. Never Never. Tarryn Fisher. I thought the most memorable moment in the book was when Lara found the microbe in the women and removed them from Raven and Savannah during the healing ceremony. This was the hugh turning point to be able to fight Xavier. It was then that Mikhail new what was causing the death of the babies and that his people now had a chance to survive. Which scene was your favorite? My favorite scene was the Healing ceremony scene.

The turning point in the fight against Xavier. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting? Yes and I did. They brought you into the story. Yes because there were two narrators man ad woman. Any of them read by two narrators. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I love dark series!! I have read this story along with many many others by Christine Feehan. She's an amazing author and I feel that this narrated version really takes so much from the story.
The voices are badly accented and voice effects for when they are conversing mind to mind are ridiculous instead of sounding real. I couldn't listen past chapter 2, and as there is no other narrated version of the book available I will read it instead and actually enjoy the wonderful writing rather than be distracted by silly voices. I wanted to listen to a story, not listen to bad voice acting interpretations. Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why? The stories flow now continuing from one mated pair to another.
Christine Feehan is opening the Carpathian world wider and wider. To be honest while I loved listening to this what I didn't like about it was the voices in the minds. It sounded awful which is why I have only given it 4 stars. As for the ending of the story I was a bit disappointed I thought that Laura could of been converted and still held her skills.
Loved it. Phil Gigante and Jane Brown are the best narrators they really bring a story to life. I could almost listen to anything they narrate. Get Your Free Audiobook. Dana Loved It I have been reading all the dark series - this is my 10th book. Check that out to find out what had happened to Razvan and to Ivory as she's his lifemate!! Talk about a humongous twist to the storyline!!
Now Lana was horribly abused by Razvan who was Xavier and the only way she was saved was with the aunts help. They kept her sane when she was beaten and fed upon. Now as she comes back to the ice caves, her memories start coming back and she realizes what's real and what really happened to her. And it's only with Nicolas' help that she's able to face the terrible memories that are locked away in her mind.
But it also makes her a very powerful woman.
Together with Natalya and Vikirnoff, they go to the ice caves to find some answers. There they find what they have been suspecting. Xavier is killing their people from the inside by using microorganisms to destroy them from them from the inside. So she actually isn't completely converted in this story.
She's living half and half so that she can shed her self and go into their bodies to find these microorganisms that are killing them. So this book just ends with them finding a whole ton of answers but with Lara's and Nicolas' story not complete.
